Pauline alongside Sarah Boyack MSP and Charlie Gordon MSP in support of the motion Scrap and Build for Better Buses Made in Scotland
Dear Constituent ,
On Thursday I was delighted to speak in support of Patricia Ferguson’s bill calling for the regulation of property factors in Scotland. The bill would require all Scottish Factors and Property managers to register and be accredited, and would provide accessible mediation so that people in dispute with their factor have an option of seeking redress other than through the courts. I believe that legislation ensuring home owners have a standardised complaints procedure against factoring companies is long overdue and I called on the Housing Minister to give his assurance that the Government will act to put legislation in place as soon as possible.
