Dear Constituent
Welcome to my website and the regular update on my work.
The Scottish Parliament is currently in recess and over the summer months I am able to spend some more time getting out and about around the constituency.
My roving surgery programme will begin in Merchant City and Garnethill and I am looking forward to the opportunity to catch up with residents in these unique city centre communities.
Many Labour MSPs are currently planning events to mark the 60th birthday of our National Health Service and I am working with Glasgow North MP, Ann McKechin, to help celebrate Labours' greatest achievement with staff at the Western Infirmary in the heart of the West End. I have also launched my NHS@60 survey which asks about your NHS experiences and priorities and invites you to nominate a local health service hero, you can download the survey here.
The summer period, despite not having to travel to Parliament, is always busy for constituency MSPs and with the by-election in Glasgow East closely followed by a Scottish Labour leadership election it's likely that this July and August could prove to be very busy indeed.
Thanks for stopping by.
